Technical Project Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Technical Project Manager to lead our software development projects from initiation through delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, experience with agile software development methodologies, and excellent leadership skills.

The successful Technical Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating project activities, developing realistic project estimates, plans, and metrics;
  • Ensuring all releases meet defined release criteria and are delivered as per commitment;
  • Collaborating with product owners and application specialists to groom the product backlog;
  • Tracking team progress toward milestones/sprints using key performance metrics;
  • Providing regular project status and health updates;
  • Serving as a central point of contact for project questions;

This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive cross-functional team activities and deliverables. If you have experience in software engineering leadership, a strong understanding of software product development, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in program management of software releases in an agile SW development environment with experience as a Technical Manager;
  • 6+ years of total software engineering experience with a thorough understanding of software product development;
  • 3+ years of experience in a software engineering leadership position managing a team of 10-15;
  • Strong application development experience ideally with any of the following: Java, JavaScript, Node.Js, Python, .NET etc.;
  • Experience in WebServices using REST, SOAP;
  • Track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional and distributed teams;
  • Strong leadership competencies including the ability to think and act strategically, drive for results, build a high-performance culture, and inspire/teach others to perform at higher levels;

Bonus Points

  • More than 3 years of experience as a technical lead;
  • Good hands-on experience in Java/JavaScript programming;
  • Exposure/experience at Architect level;

Education Qualification

  • Graduate in Engineering OR Masters in Computer Applications;
