Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Administrator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement robust security measures, including CCTV cameras, to safeguard facilities.
  • Organize training sessions for security personnel on behavioral, safety, and fire-fighting techniques.
  • Conduct regular fire drills and maintain fire extinguishers to ensure preparedness.
  • Monitor vehicle inward and outward registration, check vehicle papers at the gate, and define roles and responsibilities for security guards.
Facility Management:
  • Oversee cleanliness and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and healthy work environment.
  • Finalize contracts, verify bills, and follow up to ensure prompt payment.
  • Manage inventory of housekeeping materials, conduct surprise checks, and maintain high standards of housekeeping in coordination with vendors.
  • Requisition materials, buy supplies, and monitor stocks to optimize resources.
  • Perform all office maintenance tasks, including renewal of AMCs for ACs, printers, landline telephones, water purifiers, and television sets.
  • Liaise with government agencies and officials to ensure compliance with regulations.
Canteen Management:
  • Administer the company canteen, ensuring hygiene standards are maintained.
  • Control the dining hall's hygiene, maintain check-lists, and attend internal and external audits.
  • Manage crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen, and pantry equipment, controlling food waste and finalizing catering services.
Transport Management:
  • Schedule bus routes, manage vehicle maintenance, and employee scheduling.
  • Monitor mileage, optimize routes, and check utilization and non-utilization of vehicles.
  • Arrange safety and security training for drivers and employees, periodically checking vehicle fitness and conducting medical tests.
  • Book travel arrangements, including air and train bookings, taxis, and hotel reservations.
Vendor Management:
  • Liaise with vendors and agencies to sign effective corporate deals and renew contracts.
  • Verify and certify bills, follow up to ensure prompt payment, and monitor vendor performance.

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, presentation skills, ERP experience, and interpersonal skills.
