Job Title:

Chief Operating Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking leader to fill the position of Chief Operating Officer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with experience in leading high-performing teams and driving business growth through strategic planning and decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operational Strategy Development: Plan long-term operations strategy for the terminal in line with business objectives, ensuring seamless performance and high safety standards.
  • Leadership and Direction: Guide and review maintenance plans and annual budgets, as well as marketing, logistics, and material procurement plans, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and maximize efficiency.
  • Performance Improvement and Customer Satisfaction: Continuously invest in building people capabilities and competencies across all functions and disciplines, while ensuring compliance with regulatory norms and maintaining a harmonious work environment.

Skill Set Required:

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience in leading high-performing teams and driving business results.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills with ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Decision Making: Ability to make informed decisions and drive business growth through strategic planning and execution.

Qualifications:

  • 25+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the hydrocarbon/petrochemical industry.
  • Experience as a Unit Head or Second-line Unit Head is highly desirable.
  • Strong education qualification, preferably BE/B.Tech from a reputed college.
