Role Overview – Head of Business Development
As the Head of Business Development, you will be at the helm of our growth and revenue strategy—leading strategic partnerships, owning revenue targets, and building strong, lasting relationships with clients across industries. This is a leadership role that demands a strong commercial acumen, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with strategy, creative, and operations teams. You'll play a pivotal role in translating brand objectives into high-impact influencer campaigns that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the agency's business growth targets
- Identify, pitch, and convert new clients in key sectors (FMCG, fintech, D2C, lifestyle, etc.)
- Build relationships with marketing heads, CMOs, and decision-makers
- Craft compelling proposals and lead pitches from start to finish
- Spot market trends, category gaps, and emerging opportunities
- Collaborate closely with internal teams for client onboarding and success
- Represent CATR at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
- Build and lead a BD team as the org scales
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in business development, preferably in digital, influencer marketing, or advertising agencies
- Proven track record of hitting (or exceeding) revenue goals
- Strong network of decision-makers across industries
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and storytelling skills
- Strategic thinker who's also hands-on and execution-focused
- Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Bonus: Experience in international markets or with global brands
