We are seeking an experienced category manager to lead the Toys category and drive growth through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy to scale the Toys business, leveraging expertise in market trends, consumer behavior, and supplier networks.
- Manage the lifecycle of global brands, ensuring successful onboarding, optimization, and continuous improvement across e-commerce and offline channels.
- Curate a portfolio of exclusive brands, prioritizing those with high potential for growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive assortment expansion, optimize underperforming SKUs, and maximize performance through data analysis and market research.
- Ensure a seamless omnichannel experience across Ecommerce and offline channels, aligning with company objectives and customer expectations.
- Maximize profitability and scalability through margin management and GMV contribution, maintaining a deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer preferences.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in category management, including 4+ years in offline retail and eCommerce and at least 2+ years in the Toys category.
- Deep understanding of Toys' consumer behavior, product assortment, manufacturing, and supplier network.
- Expertise in marketplace/retail selling: category strategy, pricing, visibility, and marketing levers.
- Demonstrated success in scaling assortment and lifecycle SKU management.
- Proven record of cross-functional collaboration and leadership.
