Job Description
  • Lead the financial operations of an organization, ensuring compliance with legal requirements in India and the US.
  • Oversee accounting activities, including bookkeeping, MIS reporting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Supporting corporate budget and forecasting activities.
  • Monitoring and analyzing departmental work to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Providing guidance to team members on non-routine reporting transactions.
  • Working closely with the auditor to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
  • Supervising the general ledger group to meet financial reporting deadlines.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to outlined processes and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff scheduling, including work assignments, employee training, and time-off management.
  • Employee development, providing effective feedback and setting goals for each direct report.
  • Training new and existing staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in finance/accounts with 2-3 years of people management experience.
  • Strong financial and accounting background, with a passion for helping teams succeed.
  • Commerce graduate, preferably CA/CMA qualified.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Immediate joiner, with QuickBooks, Zoho, and Microsoft Office expertise.
  • Experience in IT/service sector, with knowledge of US & Indian taxes.
