Senior Financial Leader

Job Overview:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled senior financial leader to oversee General Ledger consolidation and Management Information System reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end GL closing activities.
  • Consolidate financial data from multiple business units/entities in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminate intercompany transactions.
  • Maintain chart of accounts consistency across entities.
  • Support statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes with relevant GL data.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial results and provide commentary.
  • Provide financial insights and dashboards for business reviews and management decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to align MIS with forecasting and budgeting cycles.
  • Improve and automate consolidation and MIS processes using ERP and reporting tools.
  • Ensure robust internal controls and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements in reporting and consolidation practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance with minimum 4-5 years' experience in accounts & finance.
  • Experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Experience with intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Process improvement mindset with the ability to implement automation and controls.
