Senior Financial Planning Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned financial planning professional to lead our global marketing organization's strategic planning initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in FP&A, with expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting. They will be responsible for analyzing campaign spend, conducting variance analysis, and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership.

This role requires a high level of communication skill, with the ability to simplify complex data for non-financial stakeholders. Additionally, the successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for the global marketing organization
  • Analyze marketing campaign spend and conduct variance analysis
  • Deliver actionable insights to senior marketing leaders
  • Partner with senior marketing leaders to optimize investments and drive cost efficiencies
  • Present financial performance and trends to stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy in tools like Allocadia and Ariba
  • Drive process improvements and automation across marketing finance workflows
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, ideally in a marketing finance function
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Hands-on experience with Allocadia, Ariba, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong communication skills – ability to simplify complex data for non-financial audiences
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Education: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field (B.Com, MBA, M.Com preferred)
  • Bonus: Knowledge of Indian GAAP and local financial regulations
