Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Closing the company's books: Ensure timely and accurate financial record-keeping on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting: Prepare and review reports, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Regulatory compliance: Oversee adherence to key regulations, including GAAP, Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and indirect tax laws.
  • Process improvement: Identify areas for optimization and implement changes to enhance efficiency within financial systems and practices.
  • Financial planning and analysis: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Financial statement preparation: Ensure accuracy and timely submission of the company's financial statements.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification with 2-3 years of experience or completed articleship.
  • Background in accounting, compliance, and financial reporting; exposure to healthcare or startup environments is beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to provide actionable insights from financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, along with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
