About the Role

The Commercial Manager is a critical position that oversees all financial operations with a focus on revenue cycle management.

This role requires an individual who can ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all financial processes. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  • Finance Operations:
    • Oversee end-to-end finance operations to optimize revenue cycles.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial processes to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Prepare comprehensive annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
    • Monitor and track budgets, highlighting variances for actionable insights.
  • Financial Reporting & Closing:
    • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
    • Ensure timely submission of financial reports to stakeholders.
    • Prepare detailed balance sheet schedules and reconciliations.
  • MIS, Audit & Compliance:
    • Develop and maintain robust MIS for strategic decision-making.
    • Coordinate with auditors (internal & statutory) to ensure smooth audit closures.
    • Ensure strict adherence to compliance requirements and internal controls.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders for finance-related matters.
    • Provide financial insights and commercial support to leadership for informed decisions.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Handle additional assignments or special projects as directed by senior management.
    Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Qualifications:
    • Candidate must hold a CA / ICWA / MBA degree in Finance.
    • A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience from the advertising / media industry.
  • Key Competencies:
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • High attention to detail with a proactive approach.
    • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
