Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Hotel Inventory Manager to join our team at The Experience Co. This role will be responsible for managing, curating, and producing exceptional social travel experiences for groups.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company that offers unique travel experiences across 20+ countries. As a Global Hotel Inventory Manager, you will be working closely with our production team to design, plan, book, coordinate, and manage inventory for our trips. Your primary focus will be on building relationships, negotiating with boutique hotels, chain hotels, and premium hotels worldwide.

You will be responsible for directly managing rooms, nights, preferences, and requirements in real-time with our hotel partners. Additionally, you will work closely with our production team on destinations like Greece, Japan, Spain, Iceland, and South Africa. You will also be involved in budget management, negotiation, coordination, and prioritizing resident experience on our trips.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building relationships and negotiating with hotels from boutique villas to handpicked airbnbs and 5-star luxury hotels
  • Serving as the first point of contact for all hotel partners
  • Managing rooms, nights, preferences, and requirements in real-time with hotel partners
  • Collaborating with the production team on destinations worldwide
  • Managing budgets, negotiating with hotels, coordinating dates and outcomes, and prioritizing resident experience on our trips
Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of global hotel inventory and booking platforms such as agoda, booking, and other aggregators
  • The ability to pick up the phone and solve problems at critical hours
  • Excellent negotiation skills to find bargains and drive results
  • The ability to get people to take action and drive impact in your area of expertise
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of contracting hotel room nights

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for growth and professional development.
