Program Director Role

This leadership position plays a crucial role in driving cross-functional teams and delivering value through strategic programs.

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of programs, encompassing planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication.

The ideal candidate will lead teams through product development processes to ensure successful project completion and business objectives. They will also plan and manage portfolio-level financial planning, present analysis to senior leadership, and oversee cross-functional teams.

  • Manage portfolios, overseeing budget accountability at a high level.
  • Act as the key liaison between operating units and global teams.
  • Present analysis and updates to senior leadership.
  • Drive process standardization, continuous improvement, and deployment of simplification initiatives.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI to track program performance, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, visualize data insights, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Ensure dashboards align with executive reporting needs, providing real-time visibility into program health and resource allocation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related discipline with software experience.
  • 18+ years of overall IT experience, with 10+ years of project management experience in medical devices.
  • Hands-on experience in architecting complex dashboards using Power BI or other tools.
  • Certifications: PMP equivalent, CSM, SAFe RTE, or handling ART experience.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification desirable.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and ProChain scheduling methodologies beneficial.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence all customers.
  • Independent thinker with a commercial and operational view of complex situations.
