Business Development Director

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to spearhead expansion initiatives in the APAC region.

This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for our procurement solutions in the APAC market.

The successful candidate will lead a team focused on driving revenue growth in the APAC region, develop a tailored business development strategy, identify and pursue new business opportunities across diverse sectors and geographies in APAC, establish key partnerships and alliances, oversee business development pipeline, ensure accurate forecasting and strong pipeline management in the APAC market, collaborate closely with global sales, marketing, and product teams, keep abreast of procurement trends, market conditions, and competitor activities specific to the APAC region, cultivate relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders in key target markets across APAC.

  • Leadership and Team-Building Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in business development or sales, with a focus on the APAC region. At least 3 years of leadership experience in SaaS or enterprise software, with a track record of successfully driving growth in the APAC market.
  • Procurement Expertise: In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and software, including sourcing, contract management, and supplier management.
  • Regional Knowledge: Strong understanding of cultural and business nuances in the APAC market.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strategic mindset with the ability to adapt to the dynamic APAC market. Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics.
