As a key member of our organization, the Legal Advisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all legal aspects of our operations are thoroughly reviewed and addressed. This includes providing expert legal counsel on various matters to senior management, reviewing and drafting legal documents, managing litigation, and advising on policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Advice and Compliance:

  • Provide timely and accurate legal advice on various matters to senior management and ensure that the organization adheres to all relevant laws and regulations.

Contract and Document Management:

  • Draft, review, and vet legal documents, including Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and standard agreements with external parties.

Litigation Management:

  • Coordinate with external legal advisors and standing counsels on court matters, preparing responses to grievances and attending court when necessary.

Policy Development:

  • Monitor and manage internal legal processes, update existing internal policies, and help formulate and implement new ones.

Grievance and Dispute Resolution:

  • Serve as a member secretary for committees and handle internal disputes from a legal perspective.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in law (LLB or LLM) from a recognized institution with Bar Council of India registration.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum six years of experience as an advocate or working in the legal department of an organization preferably in the education sector, demonstrating hands-on application of legal knowledge.
  • Possess strong analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills, along with excellent oral and written communication abilities. Knowledge of Telugu is essential.
