Job Title: Chief Financial Strategist

The role of the Chief Financial Strategist is to drive a company's tax strategy and compliance efforts by providing expert financial guidance and leadership.

A key member of the finance department, this individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial direction.

  • 13+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in direct tax laws and regulations.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian direct tax laws and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
  • Researching, interpreting, and applying relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure full compliance.
  • Preparing and reviewing direct tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
  • Managing tax audits and coordinating responses and documentation for tax authorities.
  • Advising internal teams on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
  • Monitoring changes in direct tax laws and assessing their business impact.
  • Identifying tax saving opportunities while minimizing tax liabilities and risks.
  • Providing guidance and training to finance and business teams on direct tax matters.
  • Ensuring robust documentation and compliance with reporting requirements.
