Job Title: Chief Governance Officer

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position that oversees the legal affairs and risks of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all business lines and functions operate within a sound legal framework.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of company law, contracts, and regulatory compliance.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who can lead our legal function and contribute to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the legal team, instilling discipline and internal control, set up proper filing systems, procedures & back-up systems.
  • Oversee litigation (both Civil & Criminal matters), Arbitration, Mediation, NCLT, Rent Matters, Cheque Dishonor, Criminal Complaints and other disputes.
  • Strategize and drive to maximize recovery value.
  • Communicate with Government and Regulators, Authorities, etc.
  • Provide advisory services for Brand equity and image building.
  • Update management regarding contingent liabilities and litigation costs.

This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
