Project Transition Specialist
The Project Transition Specialist is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of transition projects within set timelines and customer satisfaction targets. Key to this role is effective management of multiple project waves, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transition Management: Manage active transitions as assigned, driving efficiency and quality in each project wave.
- Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, facilitating clear communication and addressing queries promptly.
- Project Support: Provide support to projects as the first escalation point for internal and customer issues, guaranteeing swift resolution.
- Governance and Training: Drive governance calls and meetings, managing internal and customer updates while planning, conducting, and managing relevant trainings for the transitions team.
- Needs Assessment: Participate in assessments to gauge training needs of the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Business Alignment: Understand strategic business objectives of the customer and facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
- Solution Development: Contribute to creating and reviewing transition solutions for RFPs/RFIs and pre-sales support as needed, identifying and defining business cases, tasks, and resource requirements.
- Process Optimization: Combine process migration activities with IT implementation, optimizing transition methodologies to reduce time, costs, risks, and retain/improve quality.
- Risk Management: Manage risks by understanding business and operational risks and developing mitigation plans, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Business Continuity Planning: Responsible for driving process-specific business continuity planning, guaranteeing resilience in the face of uncertainty.
- Document Management: Create and/or maintain project management documents, including status reports, project plans, knowledge transfer documentation, and requisite approvals.
- Opportunity Analysis: Participate in opportunity analysis/due diligence of potential projects and support solutioning of new bids/RFP-RFI responses/client presentations and sales cycles.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduate/Post Graduate degree.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience, preferably from BPO/BPM background only.
- Background: Experience in IT transitions is not eligible for this role.
