Deferred Compensation Strategist

At our organization, we seek an experienced compensation professional to lead the implementation of our Expanded Share Ownership strategy. This role will act as a subject matter expert and be responsible for executing, communicating, and delivering on the pre-determined strategy. You will work with senior stakeholders, including internal consultants, external advisors, senior business executives, and HR professionals.

The deferred compensation strategy aims to align executive compensation with company performance and create a culture of long-term decision-making. As the lead, you will execute on this strategy in line with senior executive objectives and direction. You will engage with senior business stakeholders to obtain feedback and make adjustments as required. Additionally, you will lead program socialization activities, including with senior business leaders, and support effective change management and communication planning.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience developing and implementing deferred compensation strategies in complex, global organisations. You must have deep knowledge of public company equity compensation and exceptional client relationship, communication, and stakeholder management skills. You should also be able to articulate and communicate ideas clearly to senior leaders and present information in an engaging way.

This is a remote position that requires flexibility to accommodate market transactions during U.S. hours. We are looking for a proactive individual who can take initiative to solve problems and anticipate challenges. If you have experience navigating regulatory requirements and working in a remote/hybrid manner in a global organization, it would be desirable.
