We are seeking an experienced Area Operations Manager to oversee the regional operations of our company. This is a high-profile role that requires exceptional leadership skills and a strong understanding of operational processes.

The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of hospitality management principles and be able to drive business growth through effective team management and strategic decision-making.

This position involves working closely with various teams, including front office, housekeeping, guest relations, F&B, maintenance & engineering, and human resources. The successful candidate will also be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, conducting regular audits, and implementing corrective actions to ensure high service quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understanding the company's vision, operational structure, and organisational hierarchy
  2. Implementing company-defined standards in all departments
  3. Overseeing human resource development and training while fostering a positive work environment
  4. Conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions
  5. Managing operational budgets and minimising expenses via cost-effective strategies
  6. Supervising timely hostel pre-launches and ensuring operational readiness and quality checks
  7. Enhancing guest satisfaction by addressing escalations and implementing service improvements
  8. Working with other internal departments and building relationships with industry professionals
  9. Regularly optimising SOPs to build a high service quality experience for guests

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in hospitality/hotel management
  2. Min. 6 years experience in the hospitality industry with extensive operational experience in managing multiple properties or regions
  3. Proven track record of successfully scaling teams and managing diverse operations
  4. Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
  5. Fluency in English and local language
  6. Willingness to travel and manage hotels/hostels across various locations
