We are seeking a Placement Manager to join our team

The role is responsible for campus recruitment and placement of students.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Business Targets: Translate relationships into quantifiable business outcomes as defined per individual and team targets. Ability to farm existing accounts to increase share of wallet and hunt new accounts to develop relationships.
  • Strategic Industry Engagement: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to build and maintain strong, multi-faceted relationships with leading organizations and industry leaders.
  • Forge High-Impact Connections: Proactively create and manage a portfolio of corporate engagement opportunities, including securing distinguished guest speakers, sourcing live projects, and establishing robust mentorship programs.
  • Career Services & Placements: Lead all aspects of the career services function, guiding students through their career development journey and managing the end-to-end placement process to ensure successful outcomes that meet the highest standards of professional excellence.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for corporate partners, ensuring a seamless and valuable relationship.
  • Ecosystem Development: Cultivate a vibrant ecosystem of corporate partners that aligns with the institution's mission and provides a competitive advantage for students and programs.

Candidate Profile:

  • A visionary professional with significant experience in corporate relations, business development, talent acquisition, or career services, preferably within the higher education sector or a related field.
  • Possesses a strong, existing network of senior-level contacts across various industries (e.g., technology, finance, consumer goods).
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate industry trends into actionable initiatives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of the business landscape and the talent needs of modern corporations.
  • Ability to travel within the region to engage clients for campus placement

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in business development, sales, or a relevant role.
  • Experience in customer acquiring and relationship management will also be considered.

Skills/Capabilities required:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism and competence in dealing with a variety of individuals.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Key Account Management.
  • Self-driven and goal-oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to CXOs.
