Job Title: Embedded Systems Engineer

Embedded systems engineers design and develop software and hardware solutions for a wide range of applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop algorithms to support non-volatile memory devices.
  • Update existing algorithms with new specification changes from semiconductor manufacturers.
  • Assess feasibility of support requests and identify necessary electrical and software requirements.
  • Design and release socket module adapter boards.
  • Evaluate incoming support requests for devices.
  • Select and apply standard engineering techniques and leverage AI in completing device support engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with QA and the software team on unique testing requirements.
  • Work with technical support on issues or questions pertaining to device support.
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems found and reported by QA or customers.
  • Maintain relationships with semiconductor manufacturer engineers and contacts.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • Proficient in C/C++/Assembly languages and Python.
  • Leverage AI for research, coding, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Familiarity with EPROM, Flash, Microcontrollers, and PLDs.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols SPI, I2C, UART, SWD, JTAG.
  • Familiarity with signal integrity, ground bounce, power supply noise, etc.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
