Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their instruments are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on AAS/ICP/ICPMS instruments in Eastern India.
  • Support new installation commissioning and field solving at customer sites, providing remote support as needed.
  • Deliver demonstrations to educate customers on safe and effective equipment use.
  • Provide detailed service reports on a regular basis.
  • Understand customer needs and concerns, providing a high level of customer service.
  • Meet designated goals for turn-around-time, response time, repair rate, and customer expectations.
  • Actively support achieving CAS and business goals.
  • Take ownership of customer satisfaction for services performed.
  • Work in accordance with relevant certification, regulatory requirements, and safety norms.
  • Travel as advised by the reporting manager to provide customer service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Instrumentation or Electronics.
  • More than 5-7 years of experience handling the same field equipment services.
  • Atomic Absorption spectrometer and ICP/ICPMS hands-on experience in relevant industries and processes.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and listening skills, problem-solving, customer-centric approach.
  • Handling complicated situations, experienced in Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Office.
