Sales Director for Pharmaceutical Rigid Packaging

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Sales and Business Development for the India region, focusing on Pharmaceutical Rigid Packaging.
- Review and recommend key articles from the ALPLA portfolio based on market needs.
- Establish and leverage existing relationships to build a strong client base and meet revenue targets.
- Travel locally, domestically, and internationally for sales activities.
- Create competitive offers and realize sales opportunities in a timely manner.
- Develop and strengthen client relationships at various levels.
- Create a pipeline of future opportunities for pharma packaging based on current and future market trends.
- Operate in alignment with strategic direction provided by Regional and Global Leadership.
- Retain and grow sales and marketing personnel to develop an established sales organization.
- Interface seamlessly with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to represent and serve customer needs.
Requirements
- Experience in pharmaceutical packaging sales.
- 12-15 years of experience, with 5+ years in a managerial role, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Existing relationships with large and medium-sized pharma companies at various levels.
- Track record of consistently growing sales and business development.
- Understanding of commercial structures and pricing for packaging and overall development process in Pharma.
- Understanding of regulatory needs for domestic and regulated markets.
- Strong abilities in directing customers towards their desired goals or strategies.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders within a team environment.
- Documentation management.
- Compelling skills in guiding customers towards desired outcomes or approaches.
- Ability to work in a greenfield environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
