Sales Territory Expansion Manager
Job Summary:
The Sales Territory Expansion Manager is responsible for growing sales revenue in assigned geographic territories through early identification of opportunities and successful conversion of accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales and revenue targets through proactive identification of opportunities and effective conversion of accounts.
- Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to optimize sales opportunities from assigned customer accounts.
- Acquire new customers to exceed sales expectations and expand business with existing accounts.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and influencers at growth-oriented accounts.
- Proactively promote West Pharmaceutical Services products and solutions through marketing programs and product training.
- Manage and build internal cross-functional team relationships, ensuring seamless collaboration and support.
- Understand customer needs to identify additional opportunities within accounts across all products and solutions.
- Ensure adoption of the CRM system and maintain data integrity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical primary packaging and industrial standards.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a sedentary environment, with occasional travel required.
