Sales Territory Expansion Manager



Job Summary:

The Sales Territory Expansion Manager is responsible for growing sales revenue in assigned geographic territories through early identification of opportunities and successful conversion of accounts.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Achieve sales and revenue targets through proactive identification of opportunities and effective conversion of accounts.
  • Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to optimize sales opportunities from assigned customer accounts.
  • Acquire new customers to exceed sales expectations and expand business with existing accounts.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and influencers at growth-oriented accounts.
  • Proactively promote West Pharmaceutical Services products and solutions through marketing programs and product training.
  • Manage and build internal cross-functional team relationships, ensuring seamless collaboration and support.
  • Understand customer needs to identify additional opportunities within accounts across all products and solutions.
  • Ensure adoption of the CRM system and maintain data integrity.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical primary packaging and industrial standards.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a sedentary environment, with occasional travel required.
