We are seeking a professional to fill a Proposal Engineer position.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and evaluating technical documents for project bidding processes. This includes Technical Offers, System Architectures, Bills of Materials, and commercial offers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and evaluate technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Organize bid initiation and review meetings to facilitate timely clarifications and improve bid submissions.
  • Lead the core team in evaluating customer requirements and producing technical responses to Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
  • Perform site visits to collect information and utility/facility constraints, addressing Commercial and Technical meetings with prospective clients.
  • Monitor progress and prepare weekly reports on project status.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic electrical and control knowledge with experience in estimation of DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI, MCC, PCC, VFD, APFC, and other control panels.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and select switchgear according to motor load lists, with knowledge of current load calculations and bus bar selection.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and preparation of GA in Excel.
  • A team player with strong communication, analytical, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
