
Chief Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Commis Chef to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes within the speciality section, as well as assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing new dishes.
- Preparing meat and fish with precision and skill
- Assisting with the management of health and safety protocols
- Ensuring adherence to food hygiene practices
- Leading and training junior Commis Chefs
- Monitoring portion control and minimizing waste
- Maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
- Staying aware of HACCP regulations
- Operating various kitchen equipment
- Managing dangerous equipment and ensuring safety standards
Requirements
- Proficient level of English spoken and written
- Maintaining Food Safety standards at all times
- Knowledge and ability to run a section efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective people management skills
- Ability to produce high-quality food across all sections
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Strong team management skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Good numeracy skills
