Overview

Aptar, a leading global manufacturer of plastic packaging solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the North India territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with customers, and driving business growth.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is ₹2.5 million - ₹3.5 million per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

About the Role

This key leadership position plays a critical role in driving sales revenue growth, improving market share, and increasing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, exceptional analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop sales forecasts, annual budgets, and inventory management strategies in collaboration with the supply chain manager and regional sales team.
- Facilitate the preparation of monthly sales reports, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Analyze market research data, identify potential business opportunities, and develop effective business development strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth, expand market share, and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and maximize business impact.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
- MBA in Marketing preferred
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in sales leadership roles in the B2B domain, specifically in the plastic packaging industry
- Proven track record of success in sales revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction improvement
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and exceptional leadership qualities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
