Job Description:
  We are seeking a skilled Customer Collections Specialist to join our team at Viatris. This role is responsible for ensuring timely collection of customer invoices, managing deductions, and coordinating collections calls. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work closely with internal and external customers.

  About the Role:
  As a Customer Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring all assigned duties are performed within the guidelines of Viatris internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Developing a solid understanding of customer policies and procedures related to collections.
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with customer contacts, Sales, Pricing & Contracts, and National Account Managers.
  • Supporting the credit management team with customer credit history review and assigning credit limits to new customers.
  • Providing management summaries on sales and collections data, as well as cash forecasts on a periodic basis.
  • Reconciling customer accounts and researching payment variances to eliminate continuing issues.
  • Effectively interacting with various key internal stakeholders, including presenting customer account status and preparing materials for stakeholder review calls.


  Requirements:
  To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar systems.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, finance, accounting).


  What We Offer:
  At Viatris, we offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
