Senior Engineering Manager Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of our cybersecurity platform.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a proven track record of executing engineering roadmaps in alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and scale a lean engineering team, hiring and mentoring talent to drive technical excellence.
  • Drive the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable software products that meet customer needs.
  • Establish best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, observability, and architecture to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical execution.
  • Make strategic technical decisions on architecture, tools, and platform design to support business objectives.
  • Set and track engineering KPIs for velocity, quality, and reliability to measure progress.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years hands-on development.
  • At least 2–3 years in engineering management, with a proven ability to hire, mentor, and grow engineering talent.
  • Strong foundation in system architecture, microservices, and cloud-native design, with proficiency in PostgreSQL, Redis, and scalable data modeling.
  • Experience delivering SaaS products, with a focus on cybersecurity, cloud, or compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, monitoring & logging tools, and security best practices for SaaS products.
