Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our procurement team in Pan India carrier rate negotiations with shipping lines and vendors.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for procuring DDU/DDP rates from the network, handling RFQs, and providing customer and network quotations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional to leverage their skills and expertise in ocean freight pricing roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement team in Pan India carrier rate negotiations
  • Procure DDU/DDP rates from the network
  • Handle RFQs and provide customer and network quotations
  • Ensure successful conversions and business wins
  • Plan and book shipments
  • Provide customer service as an extended service to procurement
  • Ensure GDP and CTPAT compliance

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in ocean freight pricing roles
  • Exposure to Pan India pricing
  • Handling large volumes alongside market knowledge
  • Freight forwarding experience
  • Senior management carrier relationship
