The HR Engagement & Initiatives Specialist will focus on managing and enhancing the employee experience across the institution's schools, PU colleges, early years centres, and Head Office. This role will own the onboarding journey (30/60/90-day touchpoint), engagement programs, surveys, and transparent communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structured 15/30/60/90-day onboarding connects and 1:1 conversations with new employees to ensure a smooth cultural assimilation and set clear expectations for probation reviews.
  • Build and track a 30/60/90-day employee journey framework that captures employee expectations vs. achievements and provides actionable insights to leadership for data-driven decisions.
  • Ensure 90-day feedback flows into the probation review process, providing managers with data-backed insights to improve retention during the probation period.
  • Design, implement, and manage engagement programs for schools, PU colleges, HO, and Early Years to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute an annual engagement calendar, including recognition events and team-building initiatives to boost morale and motivation.

Onboarding Experience & Employee Journey

  • Owning the end-to-end onboarding experience ensures a seamless transition for new hires and sets the tone for their future success.
  • Maintaining an employee journey dashboard highlights milestones, feedback, and engagement scores, enabling data-driven decision making.
  • Providing structured insights to managers improves retention during the probation period by identifying potential issues early on.

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Generating dashboards and reports with actionable insights for leadership helps inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Using HR data to identify engagement, attrition, and sentiment trends enables proactive measures to address areas of concern.
  • Partnering with the Senior Manager – HR Ops involves collaborating to create holistic performance dashboards that blend people insights with operational accuracy.

Surveys & Insights

  • Designing and managing engagement, pulse, and exit surveys provides valuable insights into employee sentiment and drives informed decision making.
  • Analyzing survey data and sharing findings with leadership identifies areas for improvement and informs strategic initiatives.
  • Recommendations and implementation based on survey outcomes strengthen satisfaction and retention by addressing key concerns.

Transparent Communication & Tools

  • Leading the Slack rollout as a platform for collaboration and engagement fosters open communication and enhances the overall employee experience.
  • Driving communication campaigns builds trust and clarity across employees, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Ensuring timely and transparent HR updates keeps employees informed and engaged.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partnering with HOS and Ms. Ayesha localizes engagement initiatives for schools and PU colleges, ensuring a tailored approach.
  • Collaborating with HO leadership aligns engagement with organizational goals, promoting cohesion and unity.
  • Acting as a bridge between employees and HR leadership ensures employee voices are heard and acted upon.

Process Improvement & Initiatives

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements in engagement and onboarding enhances the overall employee experience and promotes a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Staying updated with best practices in employee experience ensures the organization remains competitive and attractive to top talent.
  • Leading special initiatives strengthens culture and organizational alignment by fostering a positive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience in HR engagement, employee lifecycle management, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in HR analytics tools, HRMS, and reporting.
  • Experience in designing structured onboarding and probation review frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with survey design, data analysis, and presentation.
  • Proficiency in Slack, MS Excel, HRMS platforms, and/or data visualization tools.
