Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen operation, ensuring quality and consistency in food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in planning and preparing menu items, specials, and banquets.
- Conduct daily inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
- Monitor and control food costs.
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas.
- Assist with training and development of kitchen staff.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a senior chef role.
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
