Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to identify and pursue new business opportunities, drive growth through strategic initiatives and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate sales plans by analyzing market trends, client needs and competitor activity.
  • Maintain territory-level sales performance, initiating corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure sales objectives are met at the territory level.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities across multiple channels.
  • Negotiate client agreements, obtain approval from reporting managers, and ensure timely execution.
  • Build customer relationships, resolve queries, and document customer specifications.
  • Liaise with operations teams for order execution and communicate changes to concerned departments.
  • Collections and dispatch goods as per contractual agreements and delivery schedules.
  • Enhance response quality and minimize response time to customer queries.
  • Establish service centers or partner agencies for after-sales support.
  • Provide technical support and resolve customer complaints within predefined timelines.
  • Log customer interactions, respond to queries, and escalate issues to superiors as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of business development experience in a similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
