Job Title: HR Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead HR operations for a diverse workforce of approximately 2,000 employees across India. The role demands a strong grasp of Compensation & Benefits, Policy Governance, Labour & Statutory Compliance, and Digital HR Transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Operations Management:
    • Oversight of day-to-day HR operations across corporate offices, regional branches, and factory locations.
    • Standardization and streamlining of HR processes for seamless service delivery.
    • Efficient onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and HR shared services for all employees.
    • Assistance in responding to audit findings related to HR during external financial audits.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
    • Design and execution of compensation structures aligned with organizational goals and market standards.
    • Management of monthly payroll processes, incentive calculations, and statutory deductions.
    • Administration of employee benefit programs such as medical, insurance, and welfare schemes.
  • Policy Administration & Governance:
    • Development, update, and communication of HR policies and employee handbooks.
    • Alignment of HR policies with business objectives and compliance with regional labour laws.
    • Partnership with site HRs to ensure policy enforcement and disciplinary governance.
  • Labour & Statutory Compliance:
    • Ensure 100% compliance with applicable central and state labour regulations.
    • Coordination with contractors and third-party agencies to monitor contract labour compliance.
    • Management of labour inspections, audits, and government interactions.
  • Workforce Management:
    • Oversight of on-roll and contract employee administration.
    • Support manpower planning, deployment, and grievance redressal mechanisms.
    • Maintenance and monitoring of accurate workforce data and HR dashboards.
  • Digital HR Transformation:
    • Drive digitization of HR processes including HRMS implementation, payroll automation, and self-service tools.
    • Identification of opportunities for tech-led enhancements in HR operations.
    • Ensure data accuracy, system integration, and end-user adoption of HR tools.
  • Performance Management System:
    • Development and enhancement of performance management policy, tools, templates, and rating structures.
    • Design and implementation of KRA/KPI frameworks in alignment with organizational goals.
    • Integration of PMS with compensation, learning, and career development systems.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Master's degree in human resources, Labour Welfare, or Business Administration.
    • 12-15 years of experience in HR Operations, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial/leadership role.
    • Proven track record in managing large-scale operations in a multi-location manufacturing setup.
