
HR Business Strategist

The Human Resources Business Partner is a key role that necessitates the development, updating, and enforcement of all HR policies and company guidelines to ensure they conform to standards and laws initiated by authorities.
This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization by promoting a culture of teamwork, respect, and integrity while navigating the complexities of workplace challenges. The ideal candidate will be responsible for new hire orientation and onboarding, employee benefits, grievance management, and adherence to company policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts, performance reviews, and employee exit process
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration
- Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
- Collaborate with Employee Experience to develop employee engagement plans and initiate activities in the region
- Work with People Tech & HR Operations to implement process improvement/automation initiatives
- Collaborate with Talent Management & Development (also known as Learning & Development) to review training needs, content, and relevance to challenges faced by people leaders/employees
- Co-facilitate sessions as needed
- Evaluate and address queries/issues/grievances/escalations within the designated timeframe
- Perform day-to-day personnel handling and administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, payroll, benefits, expense management, legal documentation, MIS reporting, general correspondence, etc.
- Coach managers and work with them on best practices to provide feedback and manage performance challenges
- Partner with departments like Facilities, IT, and Finance on initiatives and policies affecting employee needs
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from an Employee Relations perspective
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity towards all issues and adhere to data privacy regulations
- Conduct exit interviews and recommend actions based on employee feedback for continuous improvement
- Handle employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate areas
- Ensure employee offboarding compliance with company processes and local regulations, conduct exit interviews, and complete proper documentation
- Drive performance and feedback culture by working closely with business stakeholders
- Partner with functional HRBPs on various initiatives impacting business
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Certifications such as SHRM-CP or HRCI are highly desirable.
