Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll processing, including implementing and maintaining payroll systems, resolving payroll issues, and communicating with clients and employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain weekly/monthly/bi-weekly payroll processes
  • Evaluate and implement efficient payroll solutions to minimize errors and maximize productivity
  • Process stop payments and re-issue as required
  • Set up wage garnishment deduction administration based on order
  • Monitor and handle ACH rejects
  • Analyze payroll tickets/query
  • Comply with PAYROLL STATE REGISTRATION (SIT/UI/LOCAL TAXES IF REQUIRED)
  • PREPARE FINAL CHECK (TERMINATION) BASED ON STATE COMPLIANCES
  • Experience required for implementing and maintaining QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Rippling, ADP Run, ADP WFN, Trinet, Paylocity, Justworks etc.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and produce various required payroll reports from respective systems
  • Maintain effective communications with clients, employees, and vendors in an efficient and timely manner

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience with implementation/support project in a weekly/monthly/bi-weekly payroll processes
  • Excellent communication skills for understanding client requirements, business discussion, solution recommendations for production issues and enhancements
  • Collaborate closely with US teams and with clients to ensure End to End Payroll management
  • Strong time and priority management skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets) required
  • Awareness of Form 940, 941, W-4, W-2, I-9, FICA, SUTA etc,
  • Knowledge of Health Benefits, 401k, State Tax Filing (SIT/UI), TPA administration, Workers Comp Insurance (Including Monopolistic States). etc.
  • Gross-Up/Non-Gross up Bonus/Commissions
  • Overtime Calculation based on respective state guidelines
  • Wage Type process, Year End process, in-depth understanding of Schemas, Rules, Functions, analytical skills, problem-solving skills
  • Onsite/offshore model and client-facing role at individual capacity
