Global Security Risk Mitigator

Job Description:

We seek an experienced professional to join our 24/7 team as a Global Security Risk Mitigator. This role involves supporting international travel security and risk mitigation projects, identifying potential risks, managing incidents, and creating standard operating procedures for optimal safety and timely responses.

The successful candidate will oversee ongoing missions, take significant responsibility for their preparation, and communicate directly with our teams, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders during emergencies and routine situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage travel operations and risk mitigation projects globally.
  • Communicate with teams, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders during emergencies and routine situations.
  • Understand, compile, and follow security procedures.
  • Document missions and update work management software.
  • Conduct situation briefings internally and externally.
  • Participate in training sessions to ensure proficiency.
  • Research major events affecting client interests.
  • Conduct after-action debriefs to identify best practices.

  • Strong operational thinking and judgment.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Clear, effective communication and decision-making in fast-paced conditions.
  • Flexibility to work rotational shifts.

  • Team-player with high independence.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and client/work management platforms.
  • Experience conducting research and writing, aptitude to learn.
  • Awareness of global events in the security and geopolitical field.
  • Cultural sensitivity.
  • Field experience is an asset but not mandatory.
  • A master's degree is an asset but not mandatory.

Work Schedule:

  • The schedule includes rotating shifts with 2 weekly offs, morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
  • As the organization operates 24/7, candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays.
