Job Title: Director of Financial Operations

We are seeking an experienced Director of Financial Operations to lead our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing end-to-end accounts and finance operations, with expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, and treasury management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies to optimize cost, improve margins, and enhance profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance against business goals and provide insights for decision-making.
  1. Accounts & Reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee accounting team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable financial reporting standards.
  1. Treasury & Working Capital Management
  • Manage cash flows, banking operations, and fund utilization efficiently.
  • Oversee working capital management, credit control, and debtor management.
  • Build strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors for fund raising and project financing.
  1. Cost Control & MIS
  • Implement effective cost accounting systems and monitor production-related costs.
  • Develop and present periodic MIS reports to management for financial performance tracking.
  • Support business units with financial analysis to aid in pricing, costing, and investment decisions.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Experience: 8 - 15 years post CA qualification experience in Accounts & Finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in manufacturing (preferably metals/steel sector)
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills, Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
