Account Strategist Job Description

Main Responsibilities include developing and executing a sustainable account strategy that aligns with the organization's business objectives.

  • Develop a comprehensive account plan to drive growth, including market research, competitor analysis, and sales forecasting.
  • Conceptualize and implement business development initiatives that support customer digital transformations.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication, networking, and collaboration.
  • Work closely with sales and product teams to explore new opportunities and maximize product potential.
  • Build and maintain executive-level connections with key accounts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and up-sell/cross-sell potential within existing customers.
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM tools and monitor market trends for competitor feedback.

Desired competencies & Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience in Sales / Account Management
  • Sales experience in Industrial Automation & Industry 4.0
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Preferred market knowledge of Emerging markets like Chemical, Pharmaceutical & Water
  • Able to work independently with strong goal orientation and assertiveness
  • Excellence in presentation, negotiation, and data analysis skills
  • Foster a culture of teamwork with room for individual development
