General Accounting Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled General Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a General Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions and statements.
- Preparation and review of journal entries and general ledger accounts;
- Reconciliation of bank and investment accounts;
- Analysis and resolution of discrepancies in financial statements;
- Development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures;
- Training and guidance of junior accounting staff on accounting principles and practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general accounting with a focus on reconciliation, analysis and problem-solving skills;
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies;
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
