We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing indirect tax accruals, returns filings, and responding to internal and external queries from stakeholders, tax authorities, vendors, customers, AR team, and AP Team.

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of indirect tax & US tax, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in MS Office applications, especially in MS Excel, and ability to handle clients/internal stakeholders/external discussions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing indirect tax accruals
  • Preparing indirect tax return filings
  • Responding to internal and external queries from stakeholders, tax authorities, vendors, customers, AR team, and AP Team

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • B. Com + CA Inter / B. Com + ICWA Inter / M. Com / MBA Finance + B.Com / Qualified CA / CMA
  • Good exposure in indirect tax accounting domain with relevant experience of general accounting experience for qualified CA/CMA) indirect tax, sales and use tax, property tax, VAT accounting, book closing, reporting, and reconciliation primarily for US region
  • Very good written and verbal/oral communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and analytical reasoning ability
