About the Role:



We are looking for a seasoned business development expert with extensive experience in expanding business portfolios, establishing partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams.



Main Responsibilities:





  • Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business growth strategy to acquire new clients and expand Niit's presence in China's education and corporate training sectors.

  • University and College Partnerships: Establish strategic alliances with Chinese higher education institutions through academic collaborations and partnerships.

  • Corporate Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with key Chinese corporations to introduce Niit's training solutions and corporate learning programs.

  • Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities within China to drive Niit's growth in the region.

  • Account Management: Maintain and grow key accounts in China by building sustainable relationships with long-term value.

  • Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of business development and client management strategies in China.



Requirements:



To be successful in this role, you will need to have:





  • Experience: Minimum 15-20 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within China, ideally within the education or corporate training sectors.

  • Proven Business Development Skills: Demonstrated success in acquiring new business accounts and expanding existing partnerships in the Chinese education or corporate training markets.

  • Account and Relationship Management: Strong track record of building and maintaining key accounts with universities, colleges, and corporate clients.

  • Negotiation and Problem-Solving: Expertise in negotiation, relationship-building, and resolving business challenges in the Chinese context.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and ability to speak and understand Chinese is an added advantage.



Preferred Qualifications:



Prior experience working in multinational organizations, especially with a focus on the China region, is highly desirable. A Master's degree in business administration or a related field is also preferred.



Salary:



The estimated salary for this role is RMB 800,000 - 1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
