The Placement Manager Role

The Placement Manager plays a crucial role in securing placements and internships for our graduating class. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a robust recruitment strategy to achieve successful career outcomes.
  2. Prioritize candidates with connections in the Media & Journalism industry.
  3. Meet individual targets assigned for recruitment, summer internships, and live projects.
  4. Support team members and convert new accounts through structured market outreach.
  5. Plan and engage with corporates for strategic activities like guest lectures, panel discussions, conclaves, workshops, and competitions.
  6. Manage student career services, including career counselling, grooming, and preparing students for interviews.
  7. Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as Alumni, Faculty, Administration, Marketing & Admissions teams, to achieve career services and institutional objectives.
  8. Nurture corporate HR networks and leverage relationships to close deals.
  9. Drive placement and internship targets, creating new partners and managing existing ones.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High integrity and Edtech industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry demographics is an added advantage.
