Job Title: State Channel Development Manager

Company: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strengthen dealer network by adhering to appointment plans and scouting suitable channel partners for Tractors and Farm Machinery.
  • Improve secondary level network quality and throughput by enhancing branch and sales point performance.
  • Induct and install new dealers, implement retail identity programs, and ensure channel readiness for new product launches.
  • Manage dealer performance by reviewing and implementing action plans, handholding new dealers, and providing capability building support to underperforming dealerships.
  • Deploy and monitor new strategies, including low-share market activities, and rollout the Dealer Performance Management program (Panchratna) for dealer owners.
Capability Building:
  • Handhold and train dealership manpower through the Solution Selling program, along with dedicated coaches.
  • Conduct periodic customized training programs, including product trainings, system utilization, and soft skills.
  • Monitor salesmen productivity data and ensure dealer owners are registered for various trainings like IIMB and NEEV.
Systems and Processes:
  • Implement and monitor system adherence at dealerships, including FDW and IdeaNxt.
  • Install and train dealerships on FDW and R&R programs.
  • Undertake innovation projects and ensure dealer bonding through State Dealer Councils.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in computers, with MS Office and SAP knowledge as an asset.
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel and converse in local languages, Hindi, and English.

Education Qualification:
  • Engineering graduate, with a post-graduation in management as a preference.
General Experience:
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in handling dealership networks, with experience in handling automobile-related dealers in sales, channel activities, and training.
Critical Experience:
  • Ability to converse in local languages, Hindi, and English.
  • System-generated core skills, including consumer insight, liaisoning, process management, and dealer performance management.
