Franchise Development Manager Role

This pivotal role plays a crucial part in expanding the franchise network across designated regions. The Franchise Development Manager is responsible for identifying high-potential cities, strategizing franchise expansion, and ensuring the successful onboarding of franchise partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Identification & Strategy: Collaborate with regional managers to identify key markets for franchise expansion. Conduct detailed market research to analyse building material data and identify growth opportunities.
  • Team Management & Collaboration: Manage and work closely with assigned team members to collect, analyse and call leads from potential areas. Provide guidance, training and support to ensure alignment with franchise selection criteria.
  • Lead Generation & Meetings: Scrutinize and shortlist potential franchise profiles that align with standards. Oversee the scheduling and alignment of meetings with interested prospects in target areas.
  • Ambassador of Change: Plan and execute weekly visits to potential franchise areas to understand market dynamics and strengthen connections. Pitch the franchise model to prospective partners, generating interest and driving conversions.

To achieve success as a Franchise Development Manager, you will need:

  • 6-8 years of experience in business development, franchise operations or sales.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record in lead generation, partner onboarding and target achievement.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
