Sales Performance Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Analyst to join our team at Clearwater Analytics. As a Sales Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Sales organization by providing actionable insights through data analysis. Your efforts will contribute to optimizing sales performance and developing effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with multiple stakeholders within the Sales organization to understand their needs and help them drive sales.
- Research and find asset data and company information about prospects.
- Stay updated with M&A news and IPO fundings to identify new prospects and inform the Sales organization.
- Analyze sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance to assist management in making data-driven decisions.
- Actively track the developments of deals, maintaining an updated mental snapshot of the status, to ensure you're consistently informed and can detect potential issues beforehand.
- Oversee and analyze the entire account universe (territory) and how are we engaging it. Evaluate and define relevant reporting for each program.
- Establish and maintain sales performance dashboards and tracking systems to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Delve deep into the sales process to discern both the 'what' and the 'why' behind varying outcomes. Your investigations aim to understand the driving factors behind successes and challenges. Monitor competitor activities and sales strategies to keep the sales team informed of market trends and potential competitive threats.
- Present and communicate business impacts to stakeholders based on your analysis.
- Special Projects: Take charge of unique projects assigned by the Chief Revenue officer. Responsibilities include meeting deadlines, staying on budget, and aligning with the company's overall goals.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to analyze complex sales data and derive actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of financial statements to cull out relevant data points.
- Expertise in secondary research and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator to help build internal database of contacts.
- Knowledge of Salesforce is preferred.
- A solid understanding of the FinTech industry and keen business acumen, including market dynamics, sales processes, and customer behavior.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Analyst or similar role.
