Business Analyst - Data Analytics

We are seeking a Business Analyst - Data Analytics to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building opportunity landscapes to support negotiations for new benefit partnerships, informing partner strategy to secure higher partner-sourced value and drive product value propositions with bespoke analytics, using advanced analytics to study customer behavior and competitive landscapes to articulate robust partner value stories for strengthening relationships and supporting renegotiations with existing benefit partners, helping set up robust Management Information Systems (MIS) and tracking of benefit performance from various lenses, proactively identifying emerging merchants and industries to curate business development pipelines in line with loyalty and benefit strategies, communicating analytics-based insights to Product Management and Leadership teams and cross-functional partners such as Business Development and Product to shape product and partner strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build opportunity landscapes to support negotiations for new benefit partnerships.
  • Inform partner strategy to secure higher partner-sourced value and drive product value propositions with bespoke analytics.
  • Use advanced analytics to study customer behavior and competitive landscapes to articulate robust partner value stories for strengthening relationships and supporting renegotiations with existing benefit partners.
  • Help set up robust Management Information Systems (MIS) and tracking of benefit performance from Amex and external partner lenses.
  • Proactively identify emerging merchants and industries to curate business development pipelines in line with loyalty and benefit strategies.
  • Communicate analytics-based insights to Product Management and Leadership teams and cross-functional partners such as Business Development and Product to shape product and partner strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to solving practical problems.
  • Solid knowledge of Machine learning algorithms, statistics, data mining, and research methods.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
