Job Overview:

  • To effectively manage and coordinate regional activities, you will be responsible for overseeing revenue growth and account management for trading organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue and customer acquisition targets.
  • Oversight of direct business development efforts, including client prospecting, relationship-building, and deal closures.
  • Support digital sales and channel partner teams to maximize their effectiveness.

Customer Acquisition:

  • Identify and target potential clients, understanding their trade finance needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Source 50+ leads every month through direct and team efforts. Convert 10+ leads every month through the identified ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of corporate customers, bankers, rating agencies, etc.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns and initiatives to attract new customers.

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of two professionals under your supervision as per business volumes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to your team, setting clear targets and performance expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

Regional Management:

  • Manage all trade finance activities in your designated region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and risk management.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to tailor services and strategies to local needs.

Performance Reporting:

  • Track and analyse key performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans as needed to ensure targets are met or exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience in trade finance, financial services, or a related industry, with at least 12-15 years of experience in team leadership roles.
  • Good experience in strategic planning, implementation of strategies to increase sales and bottom-line profit, business unit development, and identifying deficiencies and potential opportunities in the market space.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving business environment.
