Job Overview:

To oversee the management and execution of regional business development strategies, ensuring revenue growth and customer acquisition targets are met.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive business strategy to achieve revenue and customer acquisition targets.
  • Lead direct business development efforts, including client prospecting, relationship-building, and deal closures.
  • Collaborate with digital sales and channel partner teams to maximize their effectiveness.
  • Identify and target potential clients, understanding their trade finance needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Sources leads through direct and team efforts, with a focus on conversion.
  • Manages all trade finance activities in the designated region.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and risk management.
  • Tracks and analyzes key performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience in trade finance, financial services, or a related industry, with at least 12-15 years of experience in a team leadership role.
  • Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to implement strategies that increase sales and bottom-line profit.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic business environment.
