Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to spearhead our platform and infrastructure operations. This role demands exceptional organizational acumen and a deep understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of network and cloud administrators, developing scalable and repeatable processes, and ensuring consistent high-quality service delivery across client portfolios. Key responsibilities include driving operational excellence, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement, defining roles and responsibilities aligned with organizational goals, and promoting structured workflows for change management, incident response, and service requests.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance technical growth and career development within the team.
  • Establish and maintain a culture of accountability, transparency, and open communication across engineering and operations.
  • Define clear performance expectations and develop personalized development plans for team members.
  • Drive efficiency, reliability, and scalability by refining processes and procedures.
  • Promote proactive engagement with clients to ensure their service expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain strong relationships with high-value clients and monitor client satisfaction through regular feedback and service enhancement initiatives.
  • Validate implementation results and ensure accurate documentation within IT systems.

Requirements

  • Must be available for after-hours escalations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and understand 'sense of urgency.'

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in network and cloud infrastructure support, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of patching infrastructure (network and servers).
  • Deep understanding of business and technology processes.
  • Proven track record of escalation management experience.
  • Excellent critical thinking and emotional intelligence skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at different levels – direct-reports, peers, ELT, and C-level.
  • General experience with Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, VMWare, AWS, Windows, Linux) and Network Technology (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba ClearPass) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure monitoring systems (e.g., Logic Monitor & Solar Winds) is an asset.
  • University degree or college diploma program in Computer Science, Business and Technology, Information Systems, or related areas.
